TYPE A.1 Square Edged Flat Bar Joint Protection- All Leroy Dean "Type A" systems are for use with timber formwork, dowels and formwork are not supplied with Type A systems. Type A.1 comprises pre-assembled flat bars that are fixed to the top of the formwork for rapid installation, and eliminates the need to attach side two for the second pour.
TYPE A.2 Square Edged Flat Bar Joint Protection- Type A.2 is attached to the side of
the form which is cast in the first pour, side two is fixed on by tack welding.
TYPE A.3 Square Edged Flat Bar Joint Protection- Type A.3 is similar to A.2 although
side two is fixed on by matching pre-punched holes and special nylon fixings
that are supplied with the system.
TYPE B Square Edged Flat Bar Joint Protection- Type B was the first mono pour system
to be developed in the world. This comprehensive pre-assembled system includes:
Armour Edging for both sides of the joint, Permanent galvanised metal formwork,
Lesa Plate Dowels (to suit the slab thickness), Support feet, Fixing stakes and
hardware. This version is the most popular with engineers and contractors for
its cost effectiveness and flexibility.
TYPE C Square Edged Flat Bar Joint Protection- Type C is use from existing to new
slabs. Type C is supplied with all necessary components for installation.
TYPE D Square Edged Flat Bar Joint Protection- Type D is used for doorways or other
split pour situations. Type D is supplied pre-assembled with 10 to 20mm steps if
required.
TYPE E Square Edged Flat Bar Joint Protection- Type E is a development of the Type B
system incorporating a pre-installed central compressible material. Type E is
often used with Shrinkage Compensating Concrete slabs, or where other expansion
may be required.
TYPE F Steel Angle Joint Protection and crack inducer- Type F is fabricated to suit
the depth of toppings in hollowcore or similar pre-cast floors.
TYPE G Steel Angle with Sliding Cover Plate- Type G is used in conjunction with
timber formwork in floors that expect over 20mm and up to 80mm of final joint
opening that often appear in Stressed or Shrinkage Compensating Concrete Slabs.
TYPE H Square Edged Flat Bar Joint Protection- Type H is very similar to the Type B
system, although Type H uses a Lesa Hi-Move Plate Dowel.
TYPE K Square Edged Flat Bar Joint Protection- Type K is a budget version of the
Type B. Type K uses nominal dowels, lighter support feet and anchors in
accordance with industry recommendations.
TYPE L Steel Angle with Sliding Cover Plate- Type L is a comprehensive pre-assembled
version of the Type G system, including: Type G45 top section with sliding cover
plate, Permanent galvanized metal formwork, Leroy Dean Hi-Move Plate Dowels or
similar (to suit the slab thickness), Support feet, Fixing stakes and hardware.
TYPE P Steel Angle Joint Protection- Type P is a steel angle version of the Type B
system. Type P is also fully assembled with all necessary components.
Leroy Dean Speed Screed Leroy Dean Speed-Screed is the U.S. only engineered screed rail system that includes permanent formwork in a complete assembly.
Leroy Dean Strip Leroy Dean Strip is an epoxy nosing system for repairing damaged floor joints
which are unsightly, costly and often dangerous.
